about the artist   about the prints

Cleveland-born artist S. H. Abramson spent several years during the 1970s in New York City honing her watercoloring skills.  Upon her return to Northeast Ohio, she turned her focus to black and white photography, producing striking images which she hand colored with transparent inks and exhibited in local shows.  With the advent of digital photography, she merged her lifelong interests in watercolor painting and photography, translating her hand- coloring skills from brush and ink to computer and printer.

This website showcases the artist's current collection, including many scenes and landmarks from the historic Western Reserve and the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.  Her fine art prints hang in numerous private collections and are on exhibit at local institutions.  In addition to expanding her portfolio of northeastern Ohio’s breathtaking scenery and historic buildings, she accepts commissions to create portraits of private residences and gardens, and works with her clientele to customize these unique artistic renderings.

The fine art prints are individually printed on museum quality watercolor paper and signed by the artist.  They represent the finest balance between artistic rendering, archival paper and dye permanence that is available today.  Added years of enjoyment will be yours if you protect your print from direct sunlight and fluorescent lights, as you would any fine work of art.  We recommend immediate framing and displaying, primarily with incandescent lighting.

Prints measure 13" by 19".  Custom sizes are available on request.  Prints are produced upon receipt of order and will be shipped within 10 business days.  If you are not happy with your print, please contact Winter Tree Graphics within 30 days of purchase for replacement or refund.
